This one-day `no-jargon` course is aimed at any enthusiastic amateur who wants to get the most out of their display using Cat 3 material (for sale to the general public) to the best advantage. The courses are taught in a relaxed and innovative way and introduce the latest `best practice` as used in our own displays. Everyone goes away with new ideas to make their displays not only safer but also more exciting.

All aspects of Category 3 fireworks are covered including:

Firework Families (mines, rockets, cakes, candles, etc)

Site choice and layout

Risk Assessment

Health & Safety considerations

Before, during and after the display

Choosing your fireworks

Display Design

Safe set-up

Hand firing

Throughout the day there will be hands-on sessions outside. You will learn how to set up the different types of fireworks; fire them safely and at the end of the day there will be a short demonstration using a selection from our huge range of exciting material. You will also sit a short test and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to all those who take part.

A full day`s course including course notes, buffet lunch and refreshments costs £195 per person.

One FREE training course place will be offered to anyone spending £1500 or more from our DIY range.
