We do like to be beside the seaside

Fantastic Fireworks over Brighton PierThe supermoon, which some have blamed for all sorts of recent world catastrophes, was in a benevolent mood in Brighton on Saturday night.  Rising in a giant orb of pale orange it stood sentinel over a calm sea and near perfect conditions as our latest firework display took us down to the South Coast to celebrate the new season of Brighton Pier.

Our firework display organisers Rino Sampieri and Justin Petty donned their life-jackets and set up station on a tug-boat moored about 200 metres offshore.

Then at 21.10 the skies lit up with waves of colourful starbursts, canopies of gold and silver and an eyecatching sequence of green stars which hung in the air as if on wings. The brightly lit pier made the perfect backdrop as the 10-minute show reached its climax in clouds of silver stardust.

Rino is now one of our most seasoned seafarers and can’t wait to get back on the water! But if it means he can make your event the talk of the town he will happily settle for dry land.
